If you receive a call, text or email and the person who contacted you, requests that you send them money by going to a Kiosk to send them Bit Coins you are being scammed.
One you place your money in the Kiosk it is un-recoverable.

Learning about the latest scams. Information can empower you to quickly recognize a scam. Signs of a scam include:

  • An unexpected problem or offer of a prize or benefit increase
  • Pressure to act immediately
  • A request for an unusual payment like cryptocurrency, gift cards, gold bars, and wire transfers

Reporting scams as soon as possible. Victims shouldn’t be embarrassed if they shared personal information or suffered a financial loss. We are all vulnerable.

These calls appear to be originating from FNBT Bank, however, they are not. FNBT WILL NEVER CALL OR TEXT and ask you for a code or your debit card information. If you have concerns, please call us at (850)796-2000 or come by any of our office locations. FNBT Bank will never call and ask for account number, pins or personal information.
